Improving Ox Creek

Ox Creek Collaborative Partnership

To revitalize the Ox Creek Corridor, the city of Benton Harbor formed the Ox Creek Collaborative Partnership that includes the City of Benton Harbor; Benton Charter Township; National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration; Abonmarche, Inc.; Southwest Michigan Planning Commission; Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy; the University of Michigan; and Michigan Sea Grant

Local partners include Sarett Nature Center, Benton Harbor Area School District, and Total Wellness by Choice.

Together, these institutions hope to secure funding to build projects to meet the community’s needs.
